June – The last few months have been very exciting for me. I teamed up with my good friend Neil Konkel (Tony Genetic for you bizatches who don't know) to finish off Dunngenetic Volume 2. I love mastering this stuff as it sounds great before it gets to me which makes it that much easier. The tracks go from hot... to completely smokin'. These tracks bang hard and make the sub in my ride bounce. The level of rhymes and flow has been eclipsed this time around and it is a real treat to listen to. This crew is the most talented in the country. In fact, its possible their music is more likely to be bouncin' on the FM in markets like New York and Boston ~ than here in the T-dot, with only ONE urban radio station. Limore Twena (worlds end) recieved her song Each Day ~ Featured here. (see media player) The delivery happened on a stormy day in May, tornados downed trees, power lines and more. Her track is a sultry bossa nova, which one of my good friends Julio Ceasar Jimenez arranged. Between him and I, we arranged a bunch of session guys (see Anton Apostalov in my link section.) Limore has a beautiful, smooth, soft, yet powerful voice. This track certainly shows off her range and inherant ability to write melodies and counterpoint. Limore is a cerebral, soulful songstress, with the ability to weave musical magic, enough to melt even the wickest heart.
